‘(Not) The Bachelor Live on Valentine's Day with Luke Bolland’ is pretty much exactly what it says on the box. It’s a gaggle of singles, live, on stage, getting to know each other until the finale - a pair are ‘matched’ to set off on a first date.

It is a real-life romcom, complete with a goofy yet witty host (Luke Bolland), a couple of awkward moments, many giggles, and a little twist in the finale to keep things appropriately interesting.

And, who doesn’t love a romcom!?

Luke has been running this show for 8+ years and has refined the art of which questions to ask and how to ask them. He knows when to prompt nervous love-seekers, and more importantly, how to chop his singles off from their 4-minute spiel about corporate marketing. He understands what we’re there to see, and he knows how to make happen.

The show is presented in a relaxed and simple style - which is useful because the on-stage singles are visibly nervous. The flow of the show slowly eases the vying matches into a comfort zone and allows easy and casual involvement from the audience.

Luke is also well enough versed in the modern world to avoid any tacky innuendos or other uncomfortable party fouls, making this an easy and fun show to watch with a cocktail in hand.

Pick a favourite contender, lean into the awkward pauses, and enjoy a night of humour unlike any other.
