FRINGE WORLD acknowledges the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we Fringe and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
What is FRINGE WORLD?
FRINGE WORLD is a massively popular annual festival held in Perth that is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people.
The incredible array of entertainment in FRINGE WORLD offers something for everyone; from comedy, music and musicals, circus and much more. Plus, ticket prices are great value so you can enjoy multiple shows in one night out.
FRINGE WORLD 2023 attracted an impressive 564,018 attendance at free and ticketed events, of which 281,157 attendances were ticketed. Over $8.7 million was spent at the Box Office, $6.3 million of which was paid to FRINGE WORLD Artists and Venues.
The 2024 Festival will be held from 19 January to 18 February.

What shows are in the Festival?
The Festival operates under an open-access model, enabling events to register as part of the Festival. Embracing this format allows the Festival to host an extensive selection of shows spanning many artforms and genres. The open-access Fringe model is popular with artists, often offering a pathway into the industry, and access to audiences. The 2023 Festival program was comprised of 51% WA, 28% interstate and 21% international Artists.
As the Festival is open access, the shows presented may not reflect the views, beliefs or opinions of ARTRAGE (the Festival organiser) or its affiliates; and are not intended to malign any religion, cultural group, club, organisation, company or individual.

Who presents FRINGE WORLD?
FRINGE WORLD Festival is presented by ARTRAGE Inc, a not-for-profit registered charity that is one of the oldest arts organisations in WA.
Alongside FRINGE WORLD Festival, ARTRAGE also currently produces Rooftop Movies (est. 2012).
The ARTRAGE Strategic Plan and its organisational Purpose, Vision, Mission and The Way We Work statement inform how the Festival is delivered.
ARTRAGE Purpose: To enrich and evolve the culture of Western Australia by creating open artistic opportunities for audiences and artists.
ARTRAGE Vision: To embed arts in the hearts and minds of all Western Australians.
ARTRAGE Mission: To provide enduring benefits for artists, audiences and a diverse family of stakeholders through presenting cultural events with global appeal.
