Business Director

We're recruiting for the full-time permanent position of Business Director.

The primary purpose of the Business Director is to ensure the smooth delivery of the day-to-day financial processes and administration of FRINGE WORLD and Artrage (the producer of FRINGE WORLD) operations, including ICT, Human Resources and Risk management. Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, the Business Director's key responsibilities include:

  • Financial management, including implementing and monitoring financial controls, budget and cash flow management, audit delivery and risk management across the business.
  • Preparation of all necessary financial and other reports to meet statutory and grant/funding requirements and to accurately inform the CEO and Executive Team and the Board of Artrage.
  • Management of all human resources matters, including HR planning, performance management, employee contract preparation, advising on and resolving staffing issues and administering legislative requirements relating to employment.
  • Overseeing the administrative function of Artrage, including facilities management and maintenance, monitoring of cash handling and banking processes and overseeing reception services.

As part of the Executive Team, the Business Director will also contribute to the broader planning and strategy development for the organisation and provide advice and support to all departments.

Program Manager

We're recruiting for the full-time permanent position of Program Manager

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the FRINGE WORLD Festival program and artist services team to successfully deliver the FRINGE WORLD Festival program of events and to contribute to planning and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the FRINGE WORLD Festival event registration process;
  • Achieving program outcomes and targets combined with effective servicing of participating artist and venues;
  • Preparation of all necessary program reportage to assist with planning and development and to accurately inform the Chief Executive and Executive team; and

  • Management of the programming team for the effective delivery of program administrative tasks including contracts, financial settlements and Visas.
