The Freaky Funkathon is a fun-filled, funky show with live bands and
dancers performing disco songs from the 1970s and beyond. Come dressed up
in your best funky outfits and boogie under the mirror disco ball. Strut
your stuff, enjoy some freaky disco dancing and join the funky soul train
at FRINGE WORLD with the Freaky Funkathon.
Utopian Funk & The Groove Disciples, P.U.M.P / The Prince Tribute Band perform
the live music and DJ Upront (RTR FM) spins old-skool vinyl on his decks.
There is also a special burlesque performance by Parisian Pin Up, Miss Moo
Di’ Bleu. A costume box boudoir is on free loan to anyone who dares to go
back to the 1970s, or be creative and come dressed in your funkiest disco
outfits. There are prizes for the best-dressed male and female
disco-funksters.
