A life and death story of a sweet little old lady with a not so extraordinary life. A charming puppetry romp, a wonderful adventure, and a good old-fashioned farce.

Described as a raw, brave, and beautiful circus-comedy about one woman’s, you guessed it, flaws and all. Get in to see exquisite choreography on the ground and high in the air from the winner of the WA Circus Award at FRINGE WORLD 2015 and 2016.

This house on this ordinary street in this ordinary suburb in this extraordinary universe exists as it always has. Until now. Janet just wants to sleep, just wants this restless cacophony of thoughts and anxieties to transform into peaceful slumber. Instead, she is thrown into a surreal, nightmarish world, full of self-destructive body parts and cold tea.
An experimental new work from some of Perth's most exciting emerging creatives, The Big Dark combines object puppetry, comedy, and body horror.
